Greetings from the Inside

Many of you, who, rather pathetically, have come to depend on my regular spewing of hatred on an almost weekly basis, are probably wondering whether some unfortunate tragedy had befallen me following my graduation. I mean, with the exception of the regular outflow of pictures, I have almost completely disappeared from the online world. But never fear, dear reader. With this entry, I hope to assuage all your fears and apologize in advance for my pending return to online abstinence.

My explanation is simple: having delved once again into the all-encompassing world of CalSO, I have had virtually no time to even check email or return phone calls, let alone maintain my website or post entries. Immediately following graduation (from which pictures will be forthcoming), I made my third (and final) triumphant return to the UC Berkeley residence halls, entering the recently completed Slottman building at Unit 1. Two intense weeks of Camp CalSO, followed by six orientation programs in two weeks, have left me both physically and emotionally drained as well as incredibly sleep-deprived.

The only reason I had a chance to update today was because I am currently in Orange County for my sister's graduation, instead of back in Berkeley, awaiting yet another wake up call at the crack of dawn. Although I have gathered a lot of thoughts in the past few weeks, I doubt I will be able to write about any until after CalSO ends in mid-July. Until then, I realize the pictures will be an inadequate substitute.

Also, I guess while I am updating the world on my life, I might as well add that we (by that, I mean, Phil and Garett), have found a place to live in San Francisco and I will be moving out there after CalSO ends. The place is in the Inner Sunset District, close to Golden Gate Park as well as UCSF, and has a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Pictures will be forthcoming after I get keys to the place next week. So until next time, have a great summer and keep in touch.
